A Warm Hello
We're glad you found us! The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know beforehand what to expect if you come along for worship.
Our services
Our services are mostly either Eucharist (also called 'holy communion') or Morning Prayer. The Eucharist goes back to the time of Jesus when He took bread and win at the Last Supper and told his disciples to do this to remember Him. Click here for more information about the Eucharist in the Church of England.
Our Sunday services rotate weekly around our Benefice, typically starting at 10.30am, albeit with some exceptions. You can find a full list of services in the 'services and events' tab. Our services usually include the singing of hymns, and last around 45 minutes to 1 hour. We follow a printed order of service, so it is very easy to follow along.
Although our churches do not have designated car parks, there is ample on-street parking nearby.
Refreshments: We serve refreshments after our services on a Sunday. It is a great way to meet people, or simply get to know something about us. All refreshments are free.
Serving and volunteering: Many of our parishioners get involved in services, be it reading, saying prayers, the offertory, or serving. If you'd like to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can contact us a [email protected].
We hope that you will feel welcome and at home in our Benefice.
